Copper and Peanut Oil-Part 2

OK, so now it’s time to see the final processes in the peanut oil patina and copper cuff!

The last post showed you the raw copper before patina, the cuff after shaping and the components for the sterling and glass enhancement.

Spiral bracelet components

Here we are seeing all the finished components.

The Copper bracelet has now been treated to prevent oxidation… and greening of the wrist! This treatment adds some shine to the copper, too.

The Sterling flower has been antiqued to blacken the etched parts

the 2 tiny pieces next to the dichroic glass are the sterling tube rivets I will use to attach the flower to the cuff.

TA DA!!!! the finished cuff!

So now you know the major steps in the making of one of my cuffs.

Are there other projects you would like to see presented here?
